Irish indie-rock band Cardinals has announced the release of their highly-anticipated, self-titled EP, scheduled for June 7th. The announcement comes after the release of their singles ‘Roseland’ and ‘Unreal’, which have garnered attention and praise from fans and critics alike.

The band, consisting of six members, has also unveiled a new track titled ‘If I Could Make You Care’, along with a music video. Frontman Euan Manning described the song as a collaboration with bandmate Oskar, explaining that it evolved into something special that captured a sense of closure and growth for the band.

The upcoming EP is said to be a collection of songs written during the band’s time in Cork City, reflecting a blend of pop music with personal, youthful themes. Manning expressed that despite the chaos and noise, the music is warm and inviting, with a narrative waiting to be discovered by listeners.

In anticipation of the EP release, Cardinals will be embarking on their first headline tour across the UK and Ireland in May. The tour will include stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, London, Southampton, as well as a performance at The Great Escape festival in Brighton.

The self-titled EP will be available on limited edition 12” cream vinyl, along with a Rough Trade exclusive edition that includes a lyric book for fans. The band has also provided links for purchasing official Cardinals vinyl and merchandise, as well as tickets to their upcoming tour dates.

Overall, Cardinals’ EP release and upcoming tour mark a significant milestone for the band as they continue to make a name for themselves in the indie-rock scene. With their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics, Cardinals is poised to captivate audiences and establish themselves as a rising force in the music industry.

Stay tuned for more updates on Cardinals and their journey to success in the world of indie-rock music.
