I have the perfect solution for peace in the middle east (and other places) – ban religion. We dont and never have needed it. Make any kind of religion illegal, no worship, no symbols, no holy land all of it was made up anyways – pure fiction

To the shaved head florida man, those "Nazi civilians" were actually german civilians just as there were french and english and polish and russian and italian etc. civilians… none of them had anything to do with the war. I doubt any of them wanted their children to go off and die, have their family homes bombed and raided, or in some cases live under the terror of their current governments. Nothing has changed: “It is very queer that the unhappiness of the world is so often brought on by small men.” ― Erich Maria Remarque, All Quiet on the Western Front

Thou shalt not kill is in both their holy books. Let's stop pretending this is about religion.
You know Netanyahu about creamed himself when he found out that he can now exterminate the Palestinians.

what I wanna know is where was all that israeli support of wanting it to end before the war, where was the want for them to give back the country that palestine was owed

You did an amazing job on such a touching and difficult topic. I wasn't sure if I should watch a comedy show on this topic, but trusted you that you will lead it into the right direction. You succeeded with this. Shalom!

Good for you John. This is one of your best episodes and I hope people will listen. Infortunately, our world at present seems to be full of dictators, leaders, or would-be dictator-like leaders, who should be ousted or prevented from becoming leaders.

It reminds me of a seemingly forgotten scene in the first Rush Hour movie. Lee, Carter, and an inmate were arguing about the location of the bad guys. Then Lee showed the inmate a picture of the kidnapped 11 year old girl, and said he doesn't care about anything but the girl. The inmate then showed empathy and gave them the name of the mastermind.
Children should not suffer through wars.

I disagree. Talk is not enough.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” -Mark Twain

I hear what you say. I spent 4 years in the Air Force, in a unit that went all over Europe and the Middle East. I met people, I learned.

Two things need to happen, my good man John, for the US to be 'that'; the education budget needs to be ramped the fuck up…from kindergarten on and you need those you are trying to influence to be where we've been.

Can I get a autographed pic from when you were on Community? /cheers
